(Binghamton, N.Y.)- SUNY Canton received goals from seven different
players as they skated past Broome Community College 8-0 in a Region
III men's ice hockey game on Saturday in Binghamton. The Roos improved
to 4-2 in the region, 6-3 overall and have won six of their last seven
games.
Scott Zaryski (Oswego, N.Y.) led the Roos on Saturday with a pair of goals.
Mark Stewart (Gansevoort, N.Y.), Mike Pearman (Anaheim, Calif.), Nick Montour (Akwesasne, N.Y.), Tim Osoway (Chase Mills, N.Y.), Nick Ryan (Canastota, N.Y.) and Rick Simone (Marcy, N.Y.) also scored. Pearman also had two assists and Osoway and Simone each had one.
Brandon Mahler (Malone, N.Y.) notched his first career shutout for the Roos stopping all 12 shots that he faced from the Hornets.
Kevin Godoy and Matt Woodcock combined to make 34 saves for Broome.
