Death Investigation Microcredential

Investigate your potential in the Death Investigation microcredential where you will look into the medico-legal aspects of death investigations. First, you’ll analyze the manners, mechanisms and causes of death associated with postmortem changes. Then, based on your career desires and interests, you’ll tailor the second portion of the microcredential by selecting either violent crime analysis or cold case investigation. In violent crime analysis you will analyze criminal justice data to understand criminal classifications and how research can assist in an investigation. In cold case investigation you will evaluate cold case files while incorporating advancements in forensic science and criminal investigation techniques.
