Data Science
The Data Science minor program will provide foundational and applied knowledge about data science and its uses. First, you’ll learn the concept of data mining and the methods of knowing, preprocessing, processing and warehousing data. Then, by examining ethical considerations, you’ll assess collection, storage, use and analysis of data. This minor is intended for game design, IT, cybersecurity, healthcare, CJ, or engineering majors who want to incorporate data science into their college experience.
* 9 credits of minor coursework must be at the upper-division level
