Advancing Completion through Engagement (ACE)
ACE/ASAP Benefits
ACE/ASAP is reserved for active participants who are able to fully engage. As an ACE/ASAP student, you are eligible for the following services:
- Cost of attendance award (after financial aid is applied)
- Fully dedicated academic advisor
- Leadership and career development
Eligibility
To be eligible for admission through ACE/ASAP, you must meet all the criteria below:
- U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen (NYS DREAM Act students also eligible)
- Eligible for in-state tuition
- Pell eligible and receive at least $1 or Pell Aid at point of enrollment (students in the process of completing financial aid may be conditionally accepted into the program)*
- Full-time student
- High school diploma or GED
- Complete a FAFSA and NYS TAP Application every year and accept all federal and state grant aid offered
- Agree to participate in required program activities
- Entering students must be first-time freshmen, excluding any credits earned while in high school, or if transferring in, must already possess an associate degree.
Note: All majors are eligible.
* For Fall 2024, Students are not required to be in receipt of Pell but must be in receipt of at least $1 of federal or state financial aid.
