Thanksgiving Break Bus Tickets to NYC

Thursday, 07 November 2024 to Friday, 22 November 2024 at 09:00 to 09:00 - Campus Store

About the event

The Office of Diversity Affairs offers round-trip tickets directly to New York City to our students for a discounted rate for vacation periods (with the exception of college closing in May).  These tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The tickets will go on sale for (1) Thanksgiving break bus starting on Thursday, November 7th,  beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Campus Store on the 1 st Floor of the Miller Campus Center and remain there until all tickets are sold out. All monies must be available at time of purchasing ticket.

The bus will leave campus on Friday, November 22nd @ 12:30 p.m. sharp from Heritage Hall Parking Lot 3 and will return on Sunday, December 1st  from Port Authority, NYC @ 11:00a.m. The price for each ticket is $125.00, round trip.

As a reminder, anyone exhibiting rude, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior while waiting in line to purchase a ticket will not be sold a ticket and will be required to leave the area.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Please also remember that it is your responsibility to make sure you are not missing classes or final exams to leave on this bus.  We do not offer excused absences for students taking the college-sponsored bus, nor do we condone skipping classes or final exams in order to take the bus.  If you miss classes or final exams because you choose to take the bus, it will be treated by your professors as an unexcused absence.  If you have classes or final exams that conflict with this bus, we encourage you to make other travel arrangements, including purchasing tickets from our local Trailways station.

If you have any questions about this, please contact Lashawanda Ingram, Co-Chief Diversity Officer & Director of New Student Orientation at x7128 or ingraml@canton.edu.
