Caps, Gowns, and Tassels
A blue cap (with a blue/gold tassel) and gown (also known as regalia) is required to participate (walk) in the Commencement ceremony. Military uniforms or traditional Ceremonial Dress may be worn in lieu of regalia.
Cap and Gown Ordering
Cap and Gown Ordering Opens: Monday, January 19, 2026
*This process is for ordering your regalia items that are worn at the ceremony – cap, gown, hood, honor tassel. Orders of other graduate items, such as shirts, hats, etc., need to be placed as a separate order and handled directly by the person placing the order.
To order
-
- Go to https://campusstore.canton.edu/
- Under Categories, select Regalia
- Bachelor Hood – If you are receiving a bachelor’s degree and want to order a hood, select Bachelor’s Hood and add the name of your major and degree in the comment box. Note: Bachelor hoods are as follows (Bachelor of Business – Drab (Brown), Bachelor of Technology – Orange, Bachelor of Science – Gold (Yellow)). You do not need to choose a hood color; that will be handled by the Campus Store.
- Select Regalia (Cap, Gown and Tassel)
- Make sure you select your height
- Tassel Gold (Honors) – Graduates with a GPA of 3.25 or higher are eligible to wear a gold tassel. If you believe you meet the above criteria and want to order an honors tassel, select Tassel Gold (Honors). Note: Honors tassels can be ordered when ordering regalia; verification of the graduate’s eligibility will be handled by the Campus Store once the graduate list comes out. If qualifications are not met, the graduate will be refunded.
- If you are picking up your regalia order on campus, at the “Window,” select in-store pick up.
- If you need your regalia order shipped, fill in the shipping information, select Home Delivery, and pay for your order - see payment and cost information below. Regalia orders will be shipped around April 20.
