Mission

SUNY Canton is committed to conserving a safe living, learning and working environment that is free from recognized environmental and safety hazards. It is the mission of the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Department to encompass responsibilities of protecting the local community and environment from potential hazards generated by university activities in a collaborative partnership with the campus community through integration of programs and services that we provide to faculty, staff and students.

Vision

The vision of the EH&S Department is to create an environment of health and safety on campus where students, faculty, staff, and visitors are aware of campus programs and safe practices. It is the vision of EH&S and the State University of New York at Canton to comply with federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations.
