Sylvia Kingston '78
Sylvia Kingston, Class of 1978, is the owner of Josie’s Little Pizzeria and Sylvia’s Lounge and Eatery in Canton. She has been a Canton Village Trustee and a Canton College Foundation Board Member for many years. She is a strong supporter of the College Foundation.
Marti King MacArthur '74 & '78
Marti King MacArthur, Class of 1974 and 1978, was a mechanical designer for IBM and Kodak. She was a proud air force wife for 20 years, and has been on the E.J. Noble Hospital Guild and is on the Management Board of the United Helpers. She was a member of the Alumni Board for many years, and currently serves on the Foundation Board.
Michael M. Peebles '64
Michael M. Peebles, Class of 1964, retired from SUNY Canton in 2010 after serving the Science Department for 42 years, first in the Agriculture Division, and later in the Science Department. He is the winner of the 1997 Distinguished Faculty Award.
Senator Patty A. Ritchie
Senator Patty A. Ritchie, SUNY Canton's New York State Senator, having been elected in 2010. She is the chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee, and was recently named the Deputy Majority Leader for Senate and Assembly Relations. Senator Ritchie has always been a strong supporter of SUNY Canton, including in the challenge of preventing a merger.
Glenn C. Werlau '57
Glenn C. Werlau, Class of 1957, is the founder and president of Werlatone Inc., which supplies high quality passive RF components to the radio frequency marketplace. He is now celebrating his 50th year in business. Glenn has made significant annual gifts to the college, and also hosted and supported our student IEEE club, both at his company and at other engineering facilities.
