Description of Duties
The Social Sciences Department under the School of Business and Liberal Arts at SUNY Canton seeks applicants for part-time on campus and online adjunct instruction in the Applied Psychology/Addiction Treatment Training Certificate Program. Candidates may be considered for the fall and spring semesters and summer and winter terms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidates may teach 100 – 400 level courses on campus and/or online for the Addiction Treatment Training Certificate Program. Courses are listed at Addiction Treatment Training Certificate Program.
Qualifications
Required: Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
Preferred: Candidates with on campus and online teaching experience and New York State Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) designation strongly preferred.
Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
