Calvin Reid
Calvin Reid from the Bronx chose SUNY Canton because of his interest in technology and esports. The Cybersecurity program allowed him to pursue his interests and become an active student on campus.
“Transitioning from high school to college during the height of COVID was difficult for me,” he said. “Luckily, I made friends who convinced me to join the esports team for Rainbow Six. For the last two years, I have been a team captain.”
After graduation, Calvin plans to pursue a career in the technology field and is looking at positions with Apple or a government post to further his knowledge of Cybersecurity.
