Summer Foster
Summer Foster of Dansville is a freshman in the Veterinary Science Technology program who grew up with a passion for soccer and animals.
“I have played soccer throughout my life but have never done cross country and it was definitely a fun experience being able to make so many new friends,” Summer said.
Her favorite classes include Animal Anatomy and Physiology. Her favorite faculty member is Assistant Professor and Program Director, Dr. Wendy Kuceyeski.
“I chose SUNY Canton because it had an amazing Veterinary Science Technology program,” she said. “I have loved animals since I was little and would like to take care of animals for my career.
Summer also ran cross country for the Roos, which she described as a fun experience that allowed her to make new friends. “Now I’m excited to be back on the soccer field next season surrounded by some more of Canton’s amazing and supportive people,” she said.
