Grades - Incomplete

An incomplete grade may be assigned by a faculty member in cases when, for valid reasons (sickness, accident, etc.), all of the required work has not been completed but is otherwise satisfactory. Except in unusual cases, the delinquent work should not exceed 10-20% of the total required work.

Responsibility for making up incomplete work lies with the student. Incomplete work must be made up within two weeks after the first day of classes in the subsequent semester. Alternate arrangements (shorter or longer time frame) can be implemented if agreed upon by the instructor and student and approved by the School Dean. If the work is not completed according to the agreed upon plan, the incomplete grade will be recorded as “F” on the student’s record.

Academic Honors will be re-computed after the first two weeks of the subsequent semester. Revised notations will be made to the official record (i.e., transcript).
