Microcredential Declaration Form
This form is intended for SUNY Canton students, matriculated or non-matriculated, who wish to declare a Microcredential.
Microcredentials verify, validate, and attest that specific skills and/or competencies have been achieved. They differ from traditional degrees and certificates in that they are generally offered in shorter or more flexible timespans and tend to be more narrowly focused on professional skill sets.
NOTE: The overall GPA for all courses completed in the microcredential must be a 2.0 or greater. No courses older than 5 year may be applied to a current microcredential. These awards will not be retroactively awarded.
