The Church & Community Program

Description: The Church & Community Program is a food pantry that serves, on average 200 families a month. We need volunteers to help unload trucks and distribute food Monday through Thursday.

The Local Living Venture

Description: Many special projects including: Pollinator Program, 25th Anniversary Renewable Energy Home Tours, The Local Living Festival, various workshops, administrative/technical assistance. Transportation is possible but depends on the circumstance. Much of this can be done via a computer and a phone at home. Some projects may be individual others can be done by a group.

Description: The Office for the Aging provides service and advocacy for county residents 60 years and older. Programs and services includes: Nutrition Centers and Home Delivered Meals; Home Care Services;  Family Caregiver Support; Senior Community Service Employment Program; Medical Transportation;  Legal Services; Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance.

Please note! We do not accept signatures from students as supervisors of community service – YOU MUST have a staff member’s signature to submit your hours.

Also, if you complete your community service at home or a location other than what is listed here, YOU MUST have the community service supervisor provide on their letterhead signed documentation provided to our office you completed the service.
