Our non-discrimination policies are in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations. These laws include the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as Amended by the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and the New York State Human Rights Law.

Public Notice of Title VI Program Rights
The Research Foundation for the State University of New York, College of Technology at Canton gives public notice of its’ policy to uphold and assure full compliance with the non-discrimination requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related Nondiscrimination authorities. Title VI and related Nondiscrimination authorities stipulate that no person in the United States of America shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
