  • We are an OSAP-eligible school and students in Ontario can receive funding from the government.
  • Fully online students do not need any form of visa to study at our Cybersecurity program.
  • In-person Canadian students do not require a visa appointment to study in the U.S. View more information on Canadian Requiring Visas.
  • SUNY Canton will supply you with an I-20 upon acceptance and receipt of required documentation to support your F1 status. Along with your valid passport, this document will be presented at the boarder to identify your non-immigrant status in the US. No prior appointment is required.

Why Study In-Person?

All in-person international students who have studied for a full academic year are eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curricular Practical Training (CPT) allowing for work experience in the US for up to 3 years post graduation on their F1 visa, a work visa is not required until after the OPT or STEM OPT program is completed. Mix of Online and In-Person

Students can complete portion of their studies online and portion of it in-person as desired to benefit from the above OPT/CPT opportunities without work visa.
