SUNY Canton Saturday Visit Day Dec. 11 to Feature Tours, Ice Hockey Game
Prospective students and families are invited to SUNY Canton this Saturday, Dec. 11, to take a tour, meet with leadership, and watch the women’s ice hockey team take on Wilkes University.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet with President Zvi Szafran at 12:30 p.m. in the Roos House Convocation, Athletic and Recreation Center, followed by campus tours. The Roos take the ice at 2 p.m., and attendees will receive vouchers for refreshments to enjoy during the game.
“We’re excited to welcome guests to the Roos House to see our women’s hockey team in action,” said SUNY Canton Executive Director of Enrollment Melissa J. Evans. “This is a unique event that gives future students a glimpse into campus life.”
The women’s team is having one of the best starts in program history, and they were recently featured on ESPN’s SportsCenter for sophomore assistant captain Lida Laitinen’s goal against Neumann University.
To register for the event, visit the Saturday Visit Day website or send an email to admissions@canton.edu.
