Lessons will be held at SUNY Canton and led by Lecturer Nathan M. Havens, who teaches in the college’s Electrical Construction and Maintenance program.

“Students do not need to have any prior electrical experience to be successful in this course,” Havens said. “I will be teaching the basics of series and parallel circuits, using a multimeter, the care and maintenance of batteries, how to conduct a proper site visit, and how to plan a system layout.”

Space is limited, and registration is required. Those interested can visit the Solar Training Registration webpage to sign up. For more information, contact CREST Center Director Patrick S. Massaro at (315) 386-7838 or
